It is an awesome and amazing feeling when you get close to wildlife and discover the world of safari with your senses wide open. One of the best places in the world to try this is in Africa where large parts are covered by savannah with plenty of wildlife and excellent safari opportunities. But remember, there are plenty of other places where you can experience wildlife up close: the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, the Pantanal in Brazil and heaps of places in Asia, Australia and North America.
